Whats the best pants, coats, layering items, boots ect... for saddle hunting. My current gear is just too bulky for the run and gun approach. I hunt Michigan's UP, where temperatures range from 0-60F throughout the different deer seasons. Although most of my Saddle hunting will occur with temperatures between 15-45F. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I wear mostly first lite gear in similar temp ranges down here in the SLP, though maybe not as cold unless I’m doing late season bow hunting.

I like first lites sanctuary set for late season hunts. Depending on how you layer you can be comfortable in it from 30F down to 0F. Have had no issues wearing my tethrd mantis and previously an aero hunter kestrel with it.

I love my Sitka fanatic series. Super quiet but will pick up briars, seeds, etc if worn in. I usually pack it and put it on at the base of the tree though. I hunt in NW Wisconsin in the same temperature ranges.
