If you're interested in trying the recon let me know. It's the only saddle I've tried but honestly I don't see a reason to try another.

I'm 5' 10" on a good day and 165lbs for reference.

Hey. New to the forum. New to saddle hunting too. Been out about a dozen times. From oct 1 to now, October 25. Live near Kitchener, ON. I have a cruzr xc or whatever the letters are. Hawk helium with diy aiders, and a hang on seat that is absolutely terrible. Lol. Its a huge learning curve, and a legit platform would probably be the biggest help to me now. I can share my experiences, let guys try it out if they want, etc.

@Jakethesnack , nice to hear there is another Canadian on board. I live in Dundas and do a fair bit of hunting around Guelph, Hamilton, Sprucedale, Bancroft, and way up north for moose most years.

I ran an aluminum climber very successfully for a while, but got into saddles 3 years ago. I won't go back, they are just too versatile. Yesterday I sat 9 hours in my phantom, and was totally fine. It takes a while to get your system figured out, but once you do, you wont look back.

If you ever need anything, or even want to go hunting, just let me know.

Right on! I have a million questions, lol. I'm from Cambridge area. I'm hunting controlled in 87b. Been slow week with this heat for sure. Is it easier to message through here or text?
Thanks,
Jake

I'm down around petrolia area, Antler river archery in delaware is carrying the new hawk saddles. Ive been saddle hunting a long time, and mostly get my stuff out of the states or arborist supply places. Cutters choice on Oxford in london or vermeer in london have good selections of rope, caribeners etc. I buy a ton of stuff from both places for my tree company and saddle hunting.
