Well I converted my muddy pro still and my lone wolf assault seat into a DIY platform and it worked out pretty good!

I bent a LW seat doing this. I now have an xop with a amsteel support. Im 230lbs

Platform didn't do too bad. It's not quite as comfortable as the lwhc tho.

I’m about 220 and luckily I didn’t bend mine. I was more so worried about bending my stick! Lol

Does the farther down the stick you mount the platform there by increasing the amount of stick above the platform increase to a significant amount the forces placed on the attachment strap? In other words does the stand off and the stick react similarly to a fulcrum and lever principal?
