Saddle Rama in Lincoln Land

Post up some pics people!! Sorry I didn't head down, but guys in TN and KY are just as close as me. maybe we can have one IL (wink wink) next year!!

Well after meeting with everyone, I bought a aero kestrel. I love the fact that the kestrel has two rows of molle webbing and the lineman's loops are easier to find. After watching how easy it was to put on and the overwhelming rationale to buying this was the fact that the microfit adjusters are driving me crazy. They are constantly falling out and as much as I paid for the mantis I don't want to lose those. Plus I've been waiting since December 30 for a sys-hauler. So, when I get the kestrel, I will more than likely put the mantis up for sale. EX-large and has been used on one hunt. I'll keep my sys-hauler that I have, and if you want will take off the adjustable bridge. Less than 12 hours of use...Anyone want to buy this when I get my kestrel...I was given a date of April 12.

I didn't even think about taking any pictures lol. Wish we could have got one of the group though. It was great seeing all of the different gear. Only thing I didn't get to see that I would have liked to was WE stepps. I had a great time and am definitely interested in doing it again.

Great fun. Nice meeting you guys. Definitely got better ideas for future climbing methods especially. We saw single stick. Sticks themselves and SRT. Just didn't have any Wildedge steps there. Still waiting on mine.
More than happy to consider doing it again. I'm thinking next year the last weekend in March. Any other suggestions?

Last weekend in March sounds great...it’s usually warmer.

Thanks to all of you that brought equipment out, got back and ordered a Kestle as well. The single stick method has me interested, will do some practicing once my saddle arrives. I hope you do this again next year, fyw the last weekend in March is youth turkey season.

I had a great time and learned alot. Thank you to all who came out and shared your knowledge and equipment with me. I will be there next year with some gear of my own.
