Gordon,

Thanks for telling me your name (for the third time). Sorry I am so forgetful. It was very nice to meet you and Cody and the rest of those that showed up at Saddlepalooza 2021. If any of you want to hunt on WMAs in East Central Florida, I’ll share what I know about the WMAs with you. I plan to do a lot of deer hunting across Florida and some hunting in Georgia next season, and I would be happy to have any of the people that showed up this past weekend with me in my deer camps. Of course, you and Cody (from South Carolina) and the brothers from Ohio have better hunting (than Florida) at home. At the very least, I hope to see most of you next year at Saddlepalooza 2022.

Back to working in that white stuff. Can’t wait for April and Turkey season.

Since I purchased the $80 annual Fort Stewart Hunting Permit, their hog season is open until 3/7/21, my freezer is empty, and I am now retired and have free time, I am thinking of driving back up there and hunting a few more days during the 3/1/21 to 3/7/21 week.

Robbie and Will told us where they got their hog and saw a lot of sign, so I will probably check that area out. If anyone else has recommendations of which training areas I should check out, let me know.

If any of you feel like joining me for any of those days, let me know.

Wish I lived closer, I’d like to do more hog hunting. If the rivers have receded by then, I’d check out the river bottoms as well. Also if you find a green field with fresh sign those can be good the last hour of daylight. Last year quite a few pigs were killed on fields. I struck out on them this year though.

Grilled up the last of the pork loin last night. Got about 15 pounds of sausage made up as well. First time eating wild hog and I’m a big fan.

I always said that if we had hogs in Delaware, I’d probably never deer hunt again.

Lol with pigs and Turkey I don’t know it I would either. Turkey hunting pulls me away from deer season now.
