I’m checking with the wife today. I’m almost certain nothing is going on the weekend for us. I don’t mind getting with the camp ground and securing the sites. I did this last year but it was a little confusing for everyone including me. I WILL NEED A SOLID COUNT ON ATTENDEES. I booked a large section of camp sites last year but due to Covid and getting a late start on organizing the event the turn out was low. I’ve been in contact with Ernie and I will try an get Greg on board to help organize thing. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

So @Gudnyte is that what you want to try and do is get a count of how many and get the sites or just everyone call and get there on. Just checking.

I would like to get a count just so I had an idea how many was going to show. I’ll try and get a prizes from vendors. Also I’ll probably cook a few meals for everyone. A head count would help me know how much to bring for meals.
Last year was a little confusing when it came to getting the camping sites. It would be easier if everyone just called the campground and reserved their own sites. I’ll probably reserve a few extra sites just in case. All the sites are close to one another so any of the primitive sites are good. We usually try and secure the sites in what they call the field.

Question. Has the weapon rule changed? There is no requirement to register with the base?

As long as you are outside of the cantonment area, weapons do not have to be registered. They are to be unloaded (including magazines) unless hunting at the proper distance from a roadway.

I’m not a lawyer so don’t take my word for it. See SOP’s at link below. Reference 2-2 on page 13. Also don’t let the double negative get you in 2-2 C.

I’m hoping the Ohio boys can make it there this year again. It’s a little up in the air because my brother might have something else going on that weekend. I would still like to come even if I were solo but that long drive is not something I would want to pull off by myself.
