So, I've had this idea for a while and finally built a proof-of-concept. Chunk of scrap leather folded and sewn to fit the remnants of a Robin Hooded shaft, which connects it to the loops on the bottom of the AGC.
Bolted a Safariland QLS plate on it.
Initial impressions: it works fine, but it's very mag-heavy, even with a light on it. I might have to add some weight to the muzzle side to balance it out. If you try this, you might use a larger piece of leather and offset it another 3" or so compared to this version.
