I have the original, not the thin walled version that is the same shape and size as the new sapphire, the actual original, thick, tapered wall chartreuse. I shoot so well with it I am ascared of swapping to the new version with the sapphire inserts I have had siting for a few months. I will slap it on my back up bow and try to get y'all a low light pic very soon.
Side note: I had tried with the original EZV a few years ago when I first got into archery. I went back to pins but I didn't really have the experience to know what worked for me. Also when adjusting for a new bow I stripped out on one of the threads on the elevation screw, so I put it aside for a couple years. Fast forward. Drilled out the threads bought some longer screws and a couple nuts and slapped it back on my bow. Trained myself to shoot peeples with both eyes open and I have never shot better. Pic is three from 50 yards.
Also, Aaron is a great guy. when I ordered the new EZV, I mentioned to Aaron about the stripped threads on the old one. My fault, no blame on the sight. Well, he took the time to dig through his old stash and sent me a replacement nameplate for the old sight along with the new.
