Sasquatch Sized DIY saddle

Yeah, I reread @wayne r phantasm post and @always89y for the comfort channels part. Should have taken better notes on that and would have save myself time and materials. Will definitely being doing it like they suggested.

Just make sure you only do one run of stitching in the middle you want under load for the balls to come together and lock the bridge loop in place

Comfort channels are done and two inch webbing attached.

You will be happy to hang in that it will give you some great times ahead, now you just need to get a deer from it, good luck

Did a little ground testing with it yesterday and I am pretty happy with it
Yes, a deer would be nice.
I was little handicapped last year with a broken foot for all of Ohio archery season, spent all my time in a ground blind.

Really ready to start my next one, kind of thinking of trying out the kestrel clone but I do have a couple little changes to the phantom clone.

One change would be to have a little but spacing between the delrin balls, not that the comfort channels I sewed aren’t working. They would work better with a little wider channel.

Hey I just noticed you used tubular webbing as your leg straps, hows that for adjustments while hanging ?

It’s not too bad, a little tight but I can still adjust it. But you definitely do not have to use tubular webbing for the leg straps. Strapworks sells regular polyester webbing 1” that’s rated for 3800lbs
