Saunders Kwik Lok arrow holder

This is it mounted on a old compound bow.
This is the 3 rivers plastic rubber band arrow holder. It also can be used with two sided tape on a recurve.

I used a kwik lock on my first bow, a Southwest Spyder.
On my next bow it didn't fit the riser so first season I made one with a cut shaft, tape and a rubber band - like Clay's but non permanent.
Then upgraded to this - https://bigjimsbowcompany.com/product/stop-the-drop/
I got it direct from the guy in NJ who makes it. Totally worth the $.

The big Jim version is similar to what I had in mind to try to DIY except I don't see a need for the buttons. I think some double sided tape on the 'arm' of the holder would be sufficient. The Saunders version has way more material then you need in my opinion and I always have to cut off the bottom to fit around my grip.

The stop the drop comes with 2 buttons so you can use it on two bows, if you're so lucky to need.

I didnt realize that but do like that concept. Does the arrow holder swing down and get in the way of the grip when you don't have it holding an arrow, or does it fit the button pretty tight and stay in that horizontal position?

Mine came in this morning and I just threw it on. I have to say it was exactly what I was looking for. I cut the bottom tab off and dry fit it before mounting it. I address my string and barely put tension on and it flings back out of the way. Huge value add to my hunt right there for $10. My question is what are these two little pieces of rubber tubing that came with it?

It doesn't swing down, it sticks straight back, completely out of the way. Here are 2 pics of it on my bow, just the riser.

Put the rubber tubes over each of the gripper end tips for use with smaller diameter arrows.

Don't want to derail, but wow what a nice looking bow. What is it?

@Red Beard Ahh ok that makes sense…

It is a Bojac Apex 62” 45@28” R/D longbow.
It shoots lights out and is very quiet. I love this bow. I made a 12 strand dynaflight string for it and couldn’t be happier with the bow.
