I used a kwik lock on my first bow, a Southwest Spyder.
On my next bow it didn't fit the riser so first season I made one with a cut shaft, tape and a rubber band - like Clay's but non permanent.
Then upgraded to this - https://bigjimsbowcompany.com/product/stop-the-drop/
I got it direct from the guy in NJ who makes it. Totally worth the $.
The stop the drop comes with 2 buttons so you can use it on two bows, if you're so lucky to need.
It doesn't swing down, it sticks straight back, completely out of the way. Here are 2 pics of it on my bow, just the riser.I didnt realize that but do like that concept. Does the arrow holder swing down and get in the way of the grip when you don't have it holding an arrow, or does it fit the button pretty tight and stay in that horizontal position?
Put the rubber tubes over each of the gripper end tips for use with smaller diameter arrows.Mine came in this morning and I just threw it on. I have to say it was exactly what I was looking for. I cut the bottom tab off and dry fit it before mounting it. I address my string and barely put tension on and it flings back out of the way. Huge value add to my hunt right there for $10. My question is what are these two little pieces of rubber tubing that came with it?
