I saw these at my local Walmart and it got me thinking. If I was to wear one of these belts, would I need to buy a complete Scent Lok outfit or would just this be sufficient? My line of thinking is, when you put a flea collar on a dog, the whole dog is protected, right? Why would this be any different?

It makes perfect sense. I got one of these and the deer didn't smell me at all this season. I had my target buck dead down wind on a hot doe and he didn't know I was there. I had him at 15 yds and I could feel the wind hitting the back of my neck, and I thought, good thing I wore my scent free belt. I looked down and by jimminy it was all I had on, that and my saddle of course. I drew and was just about to touch the trigger on my release and BAM my alarm went off and it was time to get up for work.

Okay, that's it, I'm buying one....

Haven't tried that specific model but I do wear a similar one every time I hunt. Maybe they mean it helps stop the scent from coming out of your drawers?

I think if you’re wearing scent lock pants and cinch the belt good and tight a fart couldn’t get out.

Anyone using ScentLok pants knows your farts pass right through the material without loosing any of it's stink. Why they think it will kill human order is beyond me....
