Scent thief thoughts

Did you end up trying it or know anyone who has? Sounds interesting but also worried that it may be a hunting industry gimmick lol. I heard people talking about this taking the place of their Ozonics. I saw a study where they tested all of the major scent eliminator spray’s and Ozonics, and a police dog always found the person with relative ease. And a deer’s sense of smell is better than a dog’s!

I’m trying it this season… Scent Lok clothing and Scent Thief on the pack, boots, etc. Haven’t been busted yet it’s going to take awhile with more deer downwind to form an opinion.

My brothers and I have been using it with good success, but if you use a lot it’s seems the deer smell the strong additive , but if we lightly sprayed down and use the body wash we have had good success.
I’m not completely sold on it yet in OH or IN where the big bucks are , but we have been successful when using it.

If we're to the point where we can deploy agents to shut down a deer's sense of smell (chemical warfare style), why not just go all-in and use chloroform to cause them to pass out? Or maybe we can just hit them with tear gas so they can't see or smell... That sounds a bit more sporting than the chloroform.

I wonder sometimes if technology is going to ruin hunting eventually.

Heavy smell, suspicious story to it. Like Enkriss said I got snorted and won't use again. Maybe the buck couldn't smell anything after that, he definately bugged out.
I would like a bottle of the pre DOD involvement.

I was going to try this out but forgot all about it until now.

Damn, you had to show me something I never tried. After Scent Thief this year I have given up on scent. Well except for scenting a scrape with Scrape Juice.
I have a boat and will try this stuff.... and I was hoping to have a "no order anything" day... $addlehunter $trikes again.
