I tried the granite and divide and they were both so narrow in the toe box.
Do you use them in Warren? I hunt ANF sometimes and am in the market for boots. I'm taking a good look at boots with Sympatex, and these are on the list.
I'm interested in the insulated version, as, depending on my schedule, I may make trips anywhere from Nov archery to rifle and/or muzzleloader seasons. I usually hike in and hunt elevated during archery and rifle unless I'm tracking on snow.
I guess what I'm asking is are you getting through all seasons on that boot and, if so, how?
Try the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400's as a comparison.Thanks. Probably won't work for me then. I think I saw similar fit descriptions of the Beartooth on Rokslide. Liked that they were flex 2 and Sympatex.
I'm going to try the Meindl Comfort fit 400, but was thinking of trying another boot head to head with them.
Same. I can’t believe how comfortable my Kenetrek boots have gotten. Def a break in period but they fit like a glove nowI have tried ALL of the top end boots. Schnees we're the only ones that disappointed me. I have the timberlines. The rand peeled and separated on my left one in under a year and started leaking like a sive. The did take care of me no questions asked. But the comfort was never there either. The bottom of the laces down near your toes always dug into the top of my foot no matter how light or differently I tied them. Breakin helped somewhat but even at the 100 mile mark they still rubbed me bad there.
I really love my Kenetreks and Crispi's. The Kenetreks we're horrid out of the box and thought I made a monumental 500$ mistake. But there isnt a boot on the market that transformed like that one did from breakin. They are as close as I could imagine a custom fit boot could be. And I easily have 250+ miles on them and they look brand new
