SEBDR

Looks like fun! I wish my schedule was a little more predictable. I have to take trips spur of the moment when time allows it seems.
On another note, if you're looking for new tire(s)soon (I remember an old post you were looking) I have some real world experience with the Motoz Tractionator GPS and they're pretty awesome. I have about 12k on my rear, isn't quite worn out yet and has done everything I've wanted it to riding a lot of gravel roads and pavement.

What are you riding?
F800gs. How about you?

I'd love to do the NEBDR, I'll have to see where the SEBDR runs.
Yes. We want to do the NEBDR at some point too. This year we'll be heading south though. Not going to tackle the whole thing because I can't take that much time off work. Thinking we'll start in Tellico Plains and work our way back to VA. Four sections in five days makes for an easy pace and time to go back and redo a section again if we're really digging it.

We would love to have you along if you could make it!

The 39 miles of trails of tellico that I am familiar with have been shut down since like 09......thanks so much trout unlimited. Guardrail, schoolbus, slick rock, helicopter pad......some of the best 4wheeling trails the south has to offer all gone and filled in

I've got a R1200GS. I camp along the way so the bike is usually fully loaded and that with 80/20 tires, sand is really difficult to ride through. My concern with the SEBDR is I'm afraid I'd see quite a bit of sand down there. I think the NEBDR would have less sand.
I'd like to get back to southern Utah again this summer but I'm not sure it will happen.
