This one was from my new tropyline that came yesterday.
Set up in my sweet spot I only hunt on north winds. Had a deer go by before first light, couldnt see it. Another doe came through about an hour after that, drew on her but no shot.
An hour after that this buck came through and stopped 6yds from my tree. He was quaetered too me and unfortunately I misjudged the diatance. I had full passthrough on the arrow and good blood for a ways.
I lost the trail after a couple hundred yards and called the wife + a friend in. After a few hours we found him. It was a high liver shot which explains why we had issues finding blood and why he went so far. Biggest bow deer for me.
A few hours after that my friend shot his first bow deer.
