OK, I bit the bullet and bought a Juki LU563 with a non-working clutch motor for a decent deal. I now need to replace the motor with a servo, needle positioner, a smaller pulley, and a proper belt. I will also need some needles for sewing webbing.

Is there some way to get the motor, needle positioner, smaller pulley, and belt from the same vendor to ensure that they all fit and work together properly? If not, how can I avoid having to order the motor first and then make a second order for the other parts?

Second, what Juki needles are you folks using for saddles? I purchased some ball point needles for my Singer, but can anyone recommend a needle and vendor?

Thanks.

Goldstar tools will have everything you need.
A Neddle Positioning Sensor is not very helpful on the heavy duty machines. We use them on our 8700s but nothing heavier. They become problematic. Also, the majority of the servo motor set ups (750 wt/1hp) come with a sufficiently small pulley.
