Second year trying to get this girl her first spring gobbler. Within the first 30 minutes of the youth and apprentice weekend here in VA she had her longbeard on the ground. It was an awesome hunt to say the least and an even better memory. A long turkey tale short she was able to take down this Old Tom at about 50 yards. I’m one proud boyfriend. Show her some love!

Awesome bird. Turkeys are a lot of fun...Congratulations. Our season opens on the 13th.

That's awesome! Started my wife hunting turkeys while we were dating, now she's in a saddle too!
 
That is GREAT! congrats to you both. No one other than me turkey hunts so it was self taught all the way..She's a lucky lady and you a lucky guy to have a close hunting partner. From the smile she's hooked for life.
