Have you checked the pouches at eastern woods outdoors? Inexpensive, quiet and made in the US.

X2 for DanO's-sidepouches. They are durable (some are made of saddlecloth) and quiet. A bunch of great colors and camo patterns to choose from too! These are side-pouches made for hunters!!! Find them here: https://doublesteps.com/product/fleece-rope-pouch/

I use the Tethrd Sys Haulers on a Cruzr and I’ve seen where folks modify old military ammo pouches to do the same job.

I've got a set of tethrd pouches, but I can see making my own flece pouches in the future.

I like the pockets on each side of the tethrd, I generally keep the carabiners in each pocket and stuff the rope in the middle, this ensures an easy access as well as less clanking.

Now if I could only find a way to lighten up a bit- I carry two ropes, one for a linesman and one for at tree teather, and I just don't feel like I'm saving any sort of weight.

I however find the clips for the tethrd pouches to be lackluster, they probably work really well for their saddle, but using a H2 they're not ideal.

I bought 1 from Cruzr, when I bought my XC. The bag seems to be nice, but I am new to saddle hunting, as this is my first saddle.

Only draw back to the military dump pouches imo is that they're loud when brushed against the tree. My tethrd and fleece bags don't make a noise.
