Site downtime

I’ve met lot of great fellas from this site. I went to one guys sons highschool graduation party crawfish boil this past weekend with the family, met with another and his wife passing through that I’ve hunted with and they even came to our wedding, we’ve become quite good friends outside of the site. I had another help talk me through a hard time with my wife being sick while pregnant and our first son in the NICU, had another invite me over to shoot some 3d when I was heading to my grand mothers funeral, had another talk me through a bathroom remodel (which gave me a lot of confidence to get it done), same fella gave me my first pot call to get into turkey hunting, and several others shared many continued gear and deer hunting and fishing tactics with. And that doesn’t even touch the countless conversations about DIY and saddles, hunting, blood tracking, cleaning, climbing, gear, trad shooting, arrow tuning, cooking, and so much more that I have learned and discussed on this site.

I’ve found that there a lot of guys that not only hunt similar to how I do but also live and treat others the way I try to (with respect and kindness). I’m indebted to many of you for sharing your wisdom and experience, and I’m resolute in that same end, sharing that same kindness and help I’ve been shown and given.

Needless to say, I have a lot respect and thanksgiving to the bossman (@redsquirrel ) and the mods for making and keeping this forum what it is: clean, free of clutter and ads, on topic and cordial. A place where stories are shared by the digital campfire and fellowship and fraternity can be had regardless of whether you identify as a stand, ground or saddlehunter.
 
I like being able to cut and paste pics Vs going through the merry-go-round...I don't think I could do that before.

Also, thank you Admin/Mods, Redsquirrel for a great site.

Unless something has changed, I believe the reason they don’t pictures enabled in conversations/private massages is because it would take up a lot more storage, which would increase the site costs. Or something in the ballpark of that.

@redsquirrel I cannot access the site through any Mobile app, Tapatalk, safari, chrome, aloha... None of them work. I can only access the site via edge on my laptop.
 
Looks like the firewall on my phone was blocking the site when connected to WiFi…. Weird…

Yea it’s my end. For some reason my router is blocking the site. Haven’t figured out why. Doesn’t work over WiFi unless I am connected to a VPN.

I have to use a VPN on my WiFi. Strange…

But my router rotates my IP. Maybe that’s it? Can’t hold a connection? I have no idea…. But it does work over VPN….
