Site issues???

Sounds to me like you need to find a better host.

As someone who has served in a DBA role in the past, I can't think of any reasonable explanation as to why an "automated backup" would cause so many issues with a mysql database.

Typically when you run into shops like that (claims nothing is wrong, then silently fixes the problem when they do figure out they're to blame), you're running into a wanna be BOFH with a severe case of neck beard.

The automated backup hasn't been overriding the old backups so when it fills up my alloted space it craps out until I have them delete the backups. I'm not sure about the one guy who didn't help me but all the other person did was restart a service and that was the fix. I haven't had the time to pursue fixing the automated backup issue with them but besides that they have been great and the site has been very reliable :) . I really appreciate when I open a ticket it is usually addressed promptly.
 
Glad to see the site back up, but now I can’t participate in classifieds? I paid my dues awhile ago and participated in classifieds as recently as last week. Hoping it’s just related to the reboot of the site.

Membership is $15 annually, looks like you joined a little over a year ago, did you renew?
 
My subscription shows it doesn’t renew until Nov 14; however, I’m not able to post in the classifieds. Anyone having this issue?

I have that you registered on October 20, 2020 and it expired on October 20, 2021. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions. I'll be in the woods a lot if I don't get back to you immediately :).
