Smoking clothes

As to smoking my clothes I have been doing it for the last few years. I use a bee smoker with hickory chips, smoke my clothes before season and before each hunt. When doing this before the hunt I lite my smoker let it work while I get dressed at the truck (outer layers- I dress at my house with pants/shirt and my boots) and get my gear together. I do take the smoker going over my arms, hair, inside of my hat, boots and boot bottoms plus my pack, Anything that could hold scent. I do wash my cloths in scent free soap with no brighteners before smoking them prior to season and after any hunt that I sweat or feel that they need it. I also bath before each hunt with scent free soap. None of this might actually work but for me I feel it has helped keep me from getting winded by down wind deer multiple times. Anytime I can beat a deers nose close up or at a distance I feel I have succeeded which gives me an advantage over the best nose in the woods. On a side note I hunt private and public land with success. I don't always kill a monster buck as some do but I have success that keeps meat in the freezer and keeps me excited about deer hunting.
Good luck this season everyone, it will be here before we know it.
