So I bought a couple of these to try out and it just seems to be hit or miss with them. When I set them up in the yard I was able to get pics every day. I have since moved them out to some property and nodda. I just went out and check signal and battery’s. You guys got any suggestions I should try before I call customer support?

I recommend joining the spypoint Facebook group. I got some cell links and asked a few questions on there and got a lot of help.

thank you for the advice. I don’t have any social media accounts but I can barrow the wife’s.

Did you do the firmware update? When you checked them how many pictures did it take but not transmit? I have mine transmitting 2x a day, and even if it communicates with it but maybe doesn't have any new photos it shows in the app as "last communication". I assume you are not getting thru to them?

You can check the cams before you leave the field with the app to make sure they can get a signal where you're at. I have two of these - one is Verizon and one is AT&T. Depending on where I'm putting them, one may or may not work. They both work fine in my yard, but if I head to the game land 15mi North of me, the AT&T one won't ever connect.
I have both down on some property I have in FL right now, and the VZ one checks in every few hours like it's supposed to, but the AT&T one has never been able to get a signal there.

I have a bunch of these, it's a signal issue, even if it says you have full bars. What I did was ordered a couple Chinese antenna cables and got the antenna much higher on the tree it solved all my issues with receiving pictures. I even got a couple cell boosters of ebay for like 12 bucks that got me service in areas that I had none. I use a couple different models of spypoint from the link -w, ws, wm and the cell links these cables will work for them all!

Thank you @ThePennsylvanian ! Would you mind putting a link of what you bought on here?

thank you again guys for the help on this. Hopefully I’ll post up some pictures this year from them.

@ThePennsylvanian I found them no problem. However I did find out one of my biggest issues was the SD card cable was pinched and actually broken and of course when I looked to replace it non in stock anywhere.
