@BCHunter any updates on your issues? I'm going to finally get the one I just bought out this weekend (I'm way behind because of the camper rehab) I'm just going to go with Lithiums and not mess with the solar

I got the replacement after a few weeks of no communication from Spypoint. Right now I updated the firmware, made sure it will transmit pics, and turned it off. I'm going to put it out mid september on a yearly scrape line and hope it doesn't brick itself before November. I'm not going to mess with solar either, just one more variable.
 
Well the local success with these seems to be pretty high, had a $50 trade-in, and $77 worth of gift cards so I couldn’t resist and walked out with it for $30.

Prob won’t get it out for a couple weeks but I’ll let everyone know how she does.

Has anybody set up the monthly plans for these yet? My free 30 day trial is up now, and for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to purchase a plan...not sure if its on their end or if its user error...

Do these need service in the woods or are they on a different satellite. If they need service, no way they would work anywhere in my woods.

Pretty sure they make it so you have to login online to change the plans, not through the app and of course they have you auto selected for the most expensive unless you change it.

I take this back. It looks that way because they have the boxes highlighted but they actually auto change you to the cheapest/free plans. You can't change anything until your free month expires.

It’s simple to do using the app. Just go into the account tab and under the photo transmission plans select the one you want and it will prompt you for payment info. You can also toggle on and off the auto renewal so that’s easy to turn off.

Mine is too. I’m going to move it to a pinch point to get shots closer to the deer. Mine is on a food plot and the compression for file upload really blurs at a distance. Should have thought about that before

Mine has been out for about 3 weeks and still seems to be working fine as well. Agreed on the compression and needing to move my camera in closer.
 
Can you change plans during the year or are you on a yearly contract? Can you run the free plan during the off season and switch to the unlimited during October and November

You have the option to pay for a plan by the year or the month. If you paid for a higher priced plan at the yearly rate and then changed it I don't know what would happen but I'm pretty sure you can change the month to month plans whenever you want.
