Has anyone tried using Sterling Hollowblock, Brummel locked for an eye to eye prusik ?

Search hollow block in the advanced search. There was a thread a while back about hollow block fraying and having issues. Seems like there was a climber that said they had taken them all out of circulation for what he does.
