I don’t really know anything about these but at this price they may be worth some tinkering.

Thank you for posting this. I have seen quite a few other sticks for sale that are on the more economical end of the spectrum and I have questioned myself why I never see them discussed on the boards or if they are where they are.

They don’t show a pic of the velocity steps packed for the hike in.

Look at the tree stands, they show the sticks strapped to the stands. X-Pedition 2.0 and the Back Country Combo.

The reviews seem to point out they dont stack very well

I bought some to play around with. They DO NOT stack well. The rounded standoffs make them bulky. I had some extra DanO standoffs but the sticks are 1 5/8” wide. I decided to cut the SO in half and welded them on. Now the sticks stack incredibly well. I like what I have made but if you aren’t into some significant mods, do not buy. Also, the tube is 2 pieces welded together. Just thought it was interesting.

by the time anybody bought new standoffs your looking at more than double the price. Plus all that labor. Sounds like you got a nice stick now though. Awesome

I had supplies to tinker, otherwise I would not have purchased. I have access to a CNC/Laser to cut out some new standoffs that may or may not fold down onto the stick. These have become my test sticks due to their wider profile
