Stick Ladder Platform

This will be my first year hunting from a saddle. I hunt mostly private land with short walks (<1/2 mile) to my stand sights. I have several sets of stackable stick ladders that I plan to use for presets to start the season. I've tried other climbing methods, but decided on the stick ladders. No further than I walk, their extra weight is not a problem, and I can move them quickly and easily as needed. Some sets have the "T" step on the top that I can use as my platform, but other sets do not. I have a couple of ideas for a portable platform that I can move from spot to spot attaching it to the top of the sticks that don't have the "T" step, but I'm curious if anyone else is using stick ladders, what are you using for your platform?

i would use something bigger personally. The bar will get uncomfortable after a couple hrs unless you got some heavy duty steel shank boots. If you want something cheep search for "primal step platform"

Some people are fine with just a small bar to stand on. I can barely walk thhe next morning after a full day on a ring of steps or a wild edge stepp. Only way to find out is try it yourself i guess.

Thanks for the reply. I tried standing on the “T” step, and you’re right. It doesn't take very long before it’s uncomfortable. I’m going to try the primal step platform.

That's what I was going to suggest. Cheap enough that you could even have presets.
