Stickbow pull up strategies

Exploding slip knot, just a knot on a rappel rope, a single overhand knot, a small s-biner. I’ve used em all and never had any issues.

What rope/cord are you using or wanting to use? The recommendations could be more specific depending.

Paracord loop thru the string and over the tip. I’ve got at least 4 decades doing it that way. I also have a loop on the end of my rappel rope I can do the same way.
This is what I’ve been doing a long time. Works for compounds too except, instead of having a limb tip to slide it over, you put through a hole in the riser and go around the stabilizer.

Yall got a picture of through the string and over the tip?
I don’t but I could take one.
With a recurve or longbow there’s really no need for anything but a simple loop. If you have a bow quiver and want to protect your fletching hook it over the top tip on the way up and hook it over the bottom tip on the way down.

Perfect guys. Thank you. Lots of ideas now. Looking forward to seeing pictures of how your rig yours.

I’m not home to take pics but maybe I can explain in a way that makes sense. I use paracord fo a pull up rope. I tie a loop in both ends of my rope. One end is attached to me the other to the bow.

The loops in the end are permanently tied. Take your top between your bow limb and string then slide the loop over the bow tip. Pull slack out of the rope and the rope slightly cinches up to where the string meets the belly side of the limb.

This works good with a recurve, maybe not so much with a longbow.
