I put in an order a few days ago to buy 100 ROBO@68.50. It was just executed. It is a robotics and automation company fund.
Stop @65.50. Limit sell @100 for a long term hold.
I sold my ROBO yesterday 3 minutes before the close because it wasn't acting right. It should have been inching up but it was inching down. I had a loss of about $23. If I had held till now my loss would have been more than $300.

Panic sold my 200 shares of atos at 2.38 like a dummy at the very bottom.

I also bought 100 shares of VISL at 3.15 which makes me feel slightly less dumb at the moment.

I sat on my hands wanting to buy but scared it might not be the bottom. Could of made some good money today!

Every once in a while I wander into this thread... And confirm that I have no idea what you're talking about so don't do anything. Some day perhaps I'll figure it out but for now... No time.

Its very simple. Buy low and sell high!

I'll take DMTK since I watch it all the time. It opened at $71 a share, quickly dropped to $61 (when I was considering buying more) and since recovered and even went to $75. So if you had bought a 100 shares at $61, sold at $75, nice profit of $1400 in 1.5 hours. I'm sure you already see the issue with that over simplification...Yeah its currently dropped back to $68.

Looks like GME and AMC are doing things. Can't even come close to explaining it but I like it. Only hoping to break even on the two.

Bought 100 AMC@8.25. Stop 6.50. Sell 12.00.
Moved stop to 7.95. Current price 10.12.

Edit: Moved stop to 8.25. There. Nearly loss free trade now barring a discontinuous market.

I screwed up my timing when I bought more today.
Technically, it should close the gap on Feb 1 at $12.91 but these are not firm rules so anything could happen.

I chased AMC at 8.25 but it looked to be the first day of a move. I tried to get in earlier but it never hit my price so I chased it.
I'll still take 12.00.

Stop hit and I sold 100 AMC@8.24. Loss $3 after commissions. I was up over $200 and should have taken it but Eeh. Sh** happens.

I keep telling myself I have no business playing around with the meme stocks because I apparently can't time it right. But I'm already in them so I gotta keep trying. I was also up over $200 in AMC today but failed to see the light and am now back in the red. Luckily it's nothing as bad as my position with GME.
