Looking for opinions on this pack. I don’t carry much stuff and have a dedicated meat pack. I need to carry a predator platform, aluminum climbing spurs and a water bottle holder with rappelling gear. My perfect idea ( I’m a sure delusional fantasy) is to carry the spurs inside the pack, possible platform inside, and able to strap a jacket on the outside. Or a spur on each side of the pack, platform strapped in the middle and jacket inside. Any insight on this pack for my needs?

No one has any opinions on this pack?
I saw it mentioned on the large backpack thread.

I have one. I use it for travel and just a general backpack. I don’t use it for hunting because I prefer a smaller and more quiet pack in a tree. I have an xcurve frame with a couple Stone Glacier bags that I use out west so I don’t use it there either.

It is a very well made and a thought out bag. I may someday use it to hold this new LWHC but I haven’t yet. I do think it would handle what you are asking nicely. I would buy it again.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it’s pretty noisy. I see these other bags that are between 4 and 5 pounds. That’s to heavy. I’m pack drunk from looking.

I used it for a year as is for saddle hunting with 3 short stocks and its awesome. Very comfy. I elk hunt as well so I put it on an xcurve frame for an elk daypack and used it this year for my hang and hunts. I have a kuiu system as well and find the stone glacier more comfy for long distance hikes but that is subjective.

I carried my ridge runner and short heliums lashed together in the load carrier. Pretty efficient
