Stopping "sag" from haulers on Mantis?

I also use the LB trick where I run the LB from a girth hitch on my left side up over my neck and back to my LB loop on the right side as a sort of make-shift suspender. It does get a bit uncomfortable though on longer walks and I've noticed that while it helps keep the front of the saddle from sagging the top of the butt of the saddle can sag while using this method. I've been toying with the idea of some clip on suspenders or rig some sort of suspenders through the molley loops but haven't actually made that happen yet.
I get plumbers crack doing it this way too.Gonna put a set of suspenders on my Kestrel and see if I like it better

I use the patrol belt and attach the sys hauler on the belt molle loop to bring it higher

Tonight I was trying to eliminate this issue. I have tried the battle belt and really liked it but it was getting a little too bulky. I dont like the way the sys haulers hang so low. This causes them to bounce and I actually had a strap on one rip off. The repetitive bouncing also pulls the mantis down. So I simply got some small zip ties and pulled them up higher on the belt by feeding them threw the mesh and fabric this holds them tighter against my hips. Doing this with fishing my amsteel bridge threw my bridge loop and tucking it back under my waist belt locks it in solid. I also run it a bit higher for the walk in and adjust while tethering in. I’m really going to like this set up! Hope this helps!

I had one of the straps on my SYS Hauler rip as well. Wife sewed it back on and I’m up and running again. May try this zip tie idea to see if that provides some more stability.

I just put a set of suspenders from Walmart on my Tackisaddle and I have two DanO pouches on it worked great Screenshot_20191221-162317_Chrome.jpg

I did cut the plastic clips off and used 550 cord to attach to saddle.Tactisaddle has attachment location on it for this.

How do you like your Tactisaddle? I can’t wait to see his new saddle coming out in a few months!

I really like it now! I hunted out of my LW lock on last weekend and couldn't wait to get back in the saddle again. My squirrel steps saddle and pack weight 15lbs!

Nice! How is the saddle with the ring of steps?

I have 5 squirrels on OCB now. I like it but I think it would be better on a platform.Just ordered a predator last week! John Tucker /Tactisaddle said on TBW podcast he was using a platform.

And nutterbuster did a video review of the Tackisaddle and said he thinks a platform would be better.

Ok I also run the squirrel steps on a OCB. I have a predator platform but really prefer the ring of steps for various reasons. But I really like the tactisaddle. I’m torn. I run the Mantis right now

I hunt with a trad long bow like John. I just think a platform may be better for that reason.John tucker said he puts his platform on the tree like a lock on stand and hunts the front of the tree.

That’s interesting!

I pull the amsteel bridge through the bridge loop on one side, double it over and clip the loop to a carabiner on the opposite bridge loop. It keeps the bridge out of the way and pulls the sides of the saddle in tight.
