Strings

The strings I’ve gotten from RMS Gear have been great, just specify the colors you want.

I recently got strings from @JSEXTON23 and they are great! He really knows his string material and its always nice to support a fellow forum member. I was a little overwhelmed with how much he knew about materials so I just gave him the spec of my bows and told him to decide what is best. Was not disappointed, strings were good quality and beautiful too!

But l used to use a seller on eBay that the members from leatherwall recommended and they were good too.

I used to have a business making them. Since gave that up. But I buy my chinook strings from Toelke. Everything else is made by me. Allen at ten rings strings is good.

Apologies for all the questions and info. Strings seem so simple, but there are a lot of factors that go into making sure they fit nocks, and the desired performance a shooter might want. Then you get into the different colors and your head can spin.

Allen at tenring or stilldub over on leatherwall.

I agree strings can be a science I’m always experimenting then we can get into the which is better flemish or endless

I have bought 3 sets from Mike at catfish custom strings. He does a great job and they are at my house in about a week. I haven’t tried any other custom makers because if it ain’t broke, I don’t fix it.

Are you talking about compound bow? Mike is all I used for my compound bow but I asked him a few months ago, he does not make traditional strings. Has that changed?

I didn't see anything about trad string on their either. I just got one this spring for my compound from him. Had him made one for my last bow as well. Very happy with those. He doesn't do crossbow string either.

Hcbstrings.com is my site.

My customers seem to be happy. Would love an opportunity to earn your business.

Thanks for the heads up. I did end up getting one. I like what your selling as well. I added it to my book marks. Will probably take me a while to wear out the one I just got. Lol.

Oh my fault!!! I didn’t notice this was in the trad forum. Yes, I thought we were talking compounds. Oops

I use endless exclusively now. As that is what Toelke provides with their bows. Best strings I’ve used.

Hope I’m not derailing but I have been looking into this this week. Why do you prefer endless over flemish exactly?
