Alright folks, I've been known to trade a bow or two in my day. I've had a lot of bows pass through my hands and, while my current set up is my favorite yet, I'll be in the market for something new soon. Looking in the 55-60@28 range, prefer under 60" AMO, and I'm trying to keep it under $700. What suggestions do you fellas have?

Are you looking for a one piece trad or takedown? ILF compatible? Might make it easier if you list what you already have/tried so we can narrow down what you're looking for.

There is a bunch of good ones at that price point. I bought a Big Jim longbow new for $700 a couple years ago that is a fine bow. It’s his one piece. Mine is 58”, 42@28. Not as fancy as some he makes but looks awesome and kills deer.

Like I told your dad awhile back get a good ILF system that way if the mood changes you can get different limbs. Personally I like the 13” VPA riser and the 15” DAS riser I can make 54” to 62” all day long

Too vague. Off the rack, Hoyt Buffalo.
Custom..... whatever I see slightly used that matched my specs and peaked my interest.

You can't beat the slick stick longbow 58" 55@28 for the price!

I could not suggest Wild Horse Creek Bows highly enough. Mike Dunaway is the Bowyer. I purchased a used hawk this year and was super impressed. When my back up bow cracked I had already been talking with Mike about a future bow build and did not hesitate to see if he had any in stock ready to go. I could not be happier with my new Kestrel longbow. Supper fast, supper smooth draw. Incredible craftsmanship. A fine piece of functional art. Worth a google search if you have a minute. P.M. me if you want details. Also a really good guy to deal with. Best of luck with your decision
