Trying for some doe points tonight just got home from work at 615 set up and ready to roll on the food plot at home should be cool enough to let one hang tonight.

It's still early, vacation time hasn't been used up and I have a pile of tags burning a hole in my pocket. I'm in Michigan as well and live in one of the CWD zones, lots of doe tags available.
 
I'm trying guys! Sat twice so far this season, seen a couple but they were too far away. Have some construction going on near my spots so we'll see how that shakes out
 
I will be out hopefully tomorrow if the wind dies down. Expecting 30 plus mph winds . If not then Friday and Saturday .

I just haven’t been able to get out yet. I will get out soon. My wife and I have 16 month old twins and just moved into an older home that needs renovations. But I will get out. I am usually good for a deer or two.

I'm hoping to get out in the next week or two. I'm trying to knock a fence stain/seal project before temps drop anymore. It is really hindering my tree time at the moment. Hopefully, that will be done this afternoon. Good luck to those getting out now and in the near future. Congrats to those with points on the board already!
 
So here is the recap of the hunt last night. Got into a great spot had perfect wind. About 630 saw a great buck walking the thicket line. Turned grabbed my bow got camera turned on. Turned back around (he was walking behind me) and he was gone. Not sure if he went into the thicket or what just vanished as quickly as I saw him. I sat there waiting to see him move again never happened. Hung my bow back up. About 15 minutes later heard something in the thick stuff infront of me. Thought it was a squirrel because I had seen a ton of them last night. A doe popped out 10yds I got my bow up again drew on her. Then I heard walking again from right where she just came from. Let the bow down thinking it was that buck following her. She feeds down through the acorns. All the time I can hear behind her something walking I’m waiting on him to just step out. Then it happens it steps out a big ole possum right in front of me. At this point the doe is 40 yards so she got a free pass. I’ll get back in there when the wind is right again and see if he will slip up next time. Hope yalls hunt goes better than mine. At least I can say I enjoyed it and saw some deer!
