That is why I got married in September. So it would not interrupt deer season the rest of my life. That was 23 years ago and it is a win/winTomorrow is my anniversary as well. I didn’t hunt 6 years ago and got married on opening day of 2014.
If I had done that, I would have messed up my archery elk season. I wasn't in whitetail country yet, and September is bow season back in Colorado. I see your dilemma. I would agree that October was better than Sept. and November. I wish i lived closer to ELk country. I went once and it was an awesome experience. The sound of an elk bugling is one of the best sounds in nature.If I had done that, I would have messed up my archery elk season. I wasn't in whitetail country yet, and September is bow season back in Colorado. Still...better October than November.
