Team 10 Thread

To be honest nobodys tearing it up yet this year. I havent counted exact numbers but I'm guessing there have only been 6 or so submissions in the last two weeks. It'll change here with some cooler weather coming in.

I'm gonna focus on getting some house work done this weekend but try to sneak out Sun morning... Weather man says 10 degree dip...
Need to go shoot the muzzleloader next weekend...For some strange reason the wma I have the muzzleloader quota won't allow u to use a bow...stupid rule

I struck out again yesterday too. Had 4 does pop out about 80 yards away from me while I was scouting. Wind was in my favor so I decided to put a stalk on them. Got within about 40 yards and then the old doe caught my movement. She stood and stared at me without moving or even blinking for 30 minutes! I just sat under a tree motionless this whole time. Finally curiosity got the best of her and she starts creeping toward me one step at a time. I think when she gets to 30 yards I’m gonna let an arrow fly. I look down and realize I do not have an arrow knocked so as she’s coming in I am slowly grabbing an arrow from the quiver and knocking it but by that time she was too close and didn’t like all that movement. Blows hard and all 4 gallop off. Still set up on a Chinkapin oak that night that had feed sign but didn’t see anything. Been hard huntin for sure.

Good luck this weekend fellas. We have a 20 degree temp drop from today to tomorrow and I will be out of town for the whole dam weekend! I hope y’all have some good encounters.

I love Molson Canadian and Left Over Lasagna..... second day is always better for anything with sauce anyway!!! We on team six aren't exactly bringin' down the room either... where's your camp at @boyne bowhunter I'd go just to eat and drink that!!! :tearsofjoy:

Good luck all. Sitting on a long shot this morning. Either a buck shows or I'm likely to be shut out. Been waiting for the right breeze to sit this spot and have it today.
Good luck to you man!!! Get 'er done!! Raining in torrents here in WNY!!

Good luck, guys! Spent last weekend planting persimmon trees on my property. Saw a few does and a couple of young bucks while I was working. I head down to hunt next weekend for three weeks. Can’t wait to punch a couple of tags then! This weekend I’m smoking turkeys and cooking up a few meals to freeze in preparation for my 3 week hunt. Hope you all get into em this weekend! Let’s Go Brandon!

Tomorrow is last day of bow season....doesn't look like I will get out. Next fri/sat/sun is my muzzleloader quota. Really bothers me that I can't use my bow. I'm allowed to drive into the area 24hr prior so I'm going to possibly take a 1/2 day Thur to get out there and look at the parking areas and try to figure where the other peeps are gonna be. I'm really knocking out the house stuff this weekend in hopes of some full days...
Hopefully a little redemption from last year...I had this same quota last year and 1st day fell in the water up to my armpits (but got a personal airshow from a bi-plane that noticed me in my undies up in a tree :)), rained out the following day, and had some non emergency emergency at the house and had to leave on day 3.... sheesh
I had a good encounter with this buck my last hunt in these woods from last year during small game season.....maybe if I'm lucky I can run into him again
