I've never seen a sitka up close but they seem to be a small target for sure.
I hear they're great eating, congrats and enjoy!

This was a yearling. My buddy got a nice mature hind and she was the size of a yearling whitetail.

Had my last sit of the season tonight, I saw 7 deer total and had a group of 3 does in range. The nanny doe busted me when I drew and I rushed the shot at the one the didn't run off and cleanly missed her. Rather disappointed in myself for not following my shot process. At least it was a clean miss and I had an eventful night to boot. Time to make up new shafts for next year and practice my 2tc before next season. Good luck to anyone with a season still open.

Anyone still have any hunting left?
We gave it a good shot. I know things didn't go as I hoped this year. But that's hunting. I didn't make it out as much as I hoped. I passed a few 1.5yr old bucks. Saw a few good ones. But never close enough. But that's hunting. Glad to get to know you guys more!
 
I got till the 10th but I’m thinking Thursday and Friday will be my last sits. Seen plenty of deer and learned a ton this season. Already looking forward to the next.
