Wish I could hunt does at the start but for some reason in my zone we can't hunt does the first 10 days. So I'm gonna try and kill whatever buck I can those first 10 days then I will be on the prowl for does.
 
I normally try to knock down an early doe as well. Then as the rut gets closer move to buck only. Last year (my first year saddle hunting) it took 90 minutes into the season to get one! Not counting on that this year...
 
Any of you fellers out trying to smoke a nanny tonight? I’m out there in spirit, be working on the night moves tonight.

I wish. Working 12's thru wednesday so won't get back out till Thursday.
 
After returning from an unsuccessful elk hunt I'm in the need for wild game. I'll be on nanny patrol up until the first week of November, unless of course I run into an absolute bruiser. Good luck out there fellas! (Sent from a tree)
 
Same... looking for some slick heads. Got 3 shooters here at the house but no daylight pics yet. Hopefully it will change soon

First weekend of a park hunt for me tomorrow. Got to get in and set up our spots this afternoon and I’ll be back first thing in the AM, hunting through Sunday.
