Will be getting some final tune ups in this week after work. Have my bachelor party opening weekend so no hunting for me but I'm going to take a day off next week on the coldest day and see if I can catch one slipping.

Heading to deer camp tomorrow for our archery opener. Hunting hard the next three days, got a few bucks I've been watching all summer and one I've been after for a couple seasons I'm hoping to run into.
 
Shot a doe this morning out of a Drey. Never got a photo with the saddle so I'm not sure they will count it. I'll see. Maybe I can drape the saddle over my Cooler.

Hope everyone has a chance to get in the woods this weekend. Had a big doe right under me this AM that was chased of by a small Bobcat passing through- pretty cool to see.
A 2nd doe came in straight on and moved into heavy cover before it got broadside .
 
Saw a shooter Friday night, he was eating beans at 52 yards for about 3 hours. Going back out tonight hopefully I don't need a boat to get to my set.
 
I should get out for a few evening sits this week. I'm really hoping they cut the corn behind my house so I can start seeing what stuck around of this year.
 
Had a great opening weekend of archery here in MI. Saw a 6pt Friday night. Shot at and missed my target buck Saturday when the arrow hit a thick stemmed plant and deflected. Intersected paths with him mid-day stillhunting my way into my tree to hunt for the evening and saw him first. Wouldn't have counted I don't think since I was in a tree but I did have my saddle on Hopefully our paths cross again.
