Me personally, I would like to see a tape on it, with a cross reference piece of tape going across the beam.

I know he's only upgrading from a 7 to an 8, which is 1 point, but you can bet your ass if that one point matters in the end, someone may bring it up!

Not just him though, I have seen a few questionable posts with bucks lately that I would like to see a tape on. Input?

What’s the deal man? This is the second time you bring it up. Can’t you just let me enjoy my buck? My team is 95 points back in a contest that is just for fun so I didn’t bother putting a tape on it cause I had just spent 24 hours chasing him. Trust me if my team was in it I would have. I mean it’s for a 2 point upgrade.

Apparently I stick it to myself every year! One of the first years my team was in it, but not since then. Oh well. Good thing I like hunting more than this competition

Jumped that deer and a couple more. Literally ran a half circle and popped back over the ridge to shoot “the biggest button behind co of my life”. Had no Idea it was a button buck. Probably would have shot it either way.

Like I said, I'm not trying to strike nerves and I am glad people are killing deer. I brought it up on the Team 13 thread just to see general opinion that is all. I know the contest is for fun and I want to see it remain that way obviously. I was just following the rules that I read, that's all. Congrats on your deer, don't take it the wrong way.

So, just heard back... They told me to glue over where the balls come out and take a lighter to the fraying to fix it... I think I'm switching brands again.

Just wanted to let you know what they said back!
