Team 13 Thread

We opened last weekend. Killed a doe las weekend. Hunting a piece of public tomorrow. I’ve hunted this place a few times. It’s a tough place. It’s a Thursday Friday Saturday hunt and I always show up on Saturday. I had plans of approaching from the river this year but it’s too high now to safely navigate. Going to sleep in tomorrow. Go in mid day and try to find something to set up on. The good news is it’s a check in hunt. That means I can kill deer that don’t count against my state limit. AKA Bonus Bucks.
We went on vacation in GA three years ago. We stayed up in northern GA near the Blue Mountain Railroad. There were deer everywhere we stayed it was like a gated resort but rustic as heck. I saw deer all the time. A bad storm or tornado had blown through the week before and we were lucky to get to our cabin. There were trees down everywhere but the deer didn't seem impacted at all.

I call him DoubleDouble, he has both forked G2's and G4's!!! I'll probably not see him once!!! I think he's a four year old. That would give us 17 points if I did see him. Ahhh we can only hope!!!

Didn’t see much this weekend. A yearling doe Saturday. Didn’t plan on hunting Sunday but had something else cancel and went Sunday evening. Saw a doe and what I believe was another doe. We had some really mild weather this weekend also. Really thought the deer would have moved better.
