Sorry for late replies/entrance, but I just got back from a Great hunt in CO. My buddy killed in a Stud 6x6 Herd Bull with a muzzleloader. I shot a nice 5x5 satellite bull but did not recover him. Shot him right at last light. Long story short we had good blood and a bloody arrow with bubbles. Tracked about 100yds to a meadow. By then it got dark and tracking in a meadow got tough. Decided to come back in the morning since temps were in the 30's and there was no chance of the meat spoiling. As luck would have it, it rained pretty hard that night and washed everything away. We grid searched best we could for 3 days and could not find him. The wilderness is super thick and I was pretty bummed about it. But to at least come home with 1 bull I am thankful. Just wish luck was on my side for my bull.........
Anyways I'm ready to hit the woods here in KY. My big bucks have disappeared from camera's but we have a Great Acorn crop this year. Trees are loaded and have dropping for awhile now. I just have to find the ones the bucks are eating on now. Good luck to everyone on Team 2. Lets Get'r Done!
