It’s honestly fine. Wildly enough. She was in horrible shape. 91 and she would say. I’m just ready to get this over with.
 
Man. I just don't feel ready for the season this year. Now my car needs some attention to the heater before the weather turns cold. Just not enough time to get everything done. Need to send a few broadhead down range and touch up the edges. Still haven't done a full practice set up on the drt set up. Take everything and do a dry run. Nights have gotten shorter. Where does the time go...

I'm feeling the same way. Felt like I had all kinds of time this spring and summer, but it got away from me. Excited to get out Saturday to usual spots that have historically produced deer sightings. Not feeling super ready though.

Time flies, for sure. And with school and sports and everything starting back up I've definitely got less time too. I'm mostly anxious just because it's my first season and I'm trying solo public... Might send up on private next weekend
 
I took a few shots from the saddle last night. More exciting to me was i had my daughter shooting the crossbow from the saddle. 20yrds she was doing pretty good. Monday morning looking like will be my go day. Working Saturday. Busy Sunday. So hopefully Monday morning.

I've heard them a few times and I hear there's lots of them out there but I've only got one bad picture of one, I think. Got a bobcat a couple times too.

Ok, asking here first. Might ask the forum more generally too.

I got another buck this evening in that same spot I've posted a few pics in this thread, possible the 8ish from earlier. That's my top spot. Difficult in some ways ( small, gotta get it done) , cake walk in others ( easy as access as I'll get).

Had eyes on it for nearly a year, always can find deer, turkey sign in the area.

When do I try that spot? Remember I'm a rookie, have several other spots. I feel like I want to experience a few shots, hopefully successful first. But... If it's a small window to get one, I want my dividends too. I've put some work in, time for some rewards!!
