I couldn’t stand it any longer. Wanted to get the camaraderie going. Nice to see some folks I know, and a few new that I don’t. I’m excited to start talking shop and sharing hunting stories. LETS GO!!!

Hey all - this is my first year in the saddle hunting contest. I'm going for my first saddle deer this year. I shot a nice buck from a saddle in '20 but wasn't able to recover him. In '21 I killed a good buck in my first sit of the year from a buddy stand(was in a rush to get out).

I'm excited to bring home a win with team three!

Do you guys have any target bucks on cam? I have a nice 11 pt. and some 8 pts. that have been coming in about 20 yards from my tree, broadside, during daylight. Hopefully they stick around long enough for me to get a shot.

Do you know what they are doing? Headed to food? Or bedding? Are they following trails? Why would they be passing your camera, unless you have a pile of good stuff on the ground. I would try to figure out the why's.
Good luck!!!

The spot I'm hunting overlooks a clover plot that is on a ridgetop between bedding areas.
