TEAM 4 Thread 2019

Team 4 letdown, sorry guys the good news is I killed a doe with my recurve out of my saddle last Wensday afternoon,The bad news is I didn't read contest rules till just a few min ago and didn't get a pic with saddle in it.Forgive this is my first time in contest but I do have lots more opportunities ahead as I hunt almost every morning and evening and am hunting land that is great, have several shooter bucks and have already passed 3 bucks that didn't make the cut,no does will get a pass this time of year from me so I will redeem myself! By the way my first out of a saddle and first with my bw psr recurve.
That's awesome! Keep up the good work. Saddle hunting is the best

Yeah, no worries @Critter! Sounds like you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make up for it. My season hasn’t even started yet and it’s killing me!!! Few more days...

Nice work @CamoMan Nice work @Critter

Early success bodes well for the team!

I'm back from chasing bigger critters out west. I just wrapped up some major renovations at the house. I just got on the other side of the company I work for being acquired. It is time to focus on deer and squirrel killin. I'll be toting the JX3 all over in search of new dirt and dumb deer!

I'm in Baton Rouge LA and hunt public all over the state, but will hopefully make a few hunts out of state as well. Good luck everyone.

Nice! I can't imagine hunting in the south like that where it is hot and muggy!! I don't even go out up here if its above 70!

Thanks! That is in SE Minnesota. Where are you hunting at @bongo?
S Florida the Everglades is where I killed mine. He was with 4 does full rut Aug 7th.
I have hunted Central Fl since then with no luck.
Will hunt farther N in the state as season progresses. Try to follow the rut.
Season starts last Saturday of July in S FL and ends late February in the panhandle.

And we can't forget the Panthers and Bears and 95 degree heat and mosquitos and sand flies.
Gotta love it.

Thanks, guys for the great start. I have not even made it to the stand to hunt yet. I hope to hunt Saturday evening.

Like I said.. NOT FOR ME!! Lol. You guys are just crazy down there to deal with that haha. I'd be nervous to walk anywhere

7 more point for us.... Got my first kill with a recurve this morning. It's a little spike but my primary goal this year was to get a recurve kill. It's hard the see that I'm wearing my AH Flex in the pic. I have a better tailgate pic on my camera so I'll post that to the submission thread tomorrow...

That's awesome bud, meat in the pot! Good Job! I was in the saddle until 11 am this morning, jumped one on the way to the tree in the dark. Didn't see anything from the saddle.
