Team 5!

Today was 70 deg F here. Out of curiosity I went a looked back at my hunt log for this date previous years.
2014: low30, high 40
2015: couldn't hunt
2016: low 40, high 50
2017: low 25, high 38
2018: low 34, high 40
2019: low 20, high 28 (foot of snow)

I want cold weather . . . :(
 
what are the rules for how many deer you can enter. 1 doe 1 buck? way to go duuuuudes im working on a couple big boys. jumped a nice old buck bedding under my tree from the day before on saturday. had a few small 8 pt bucks present a shot but i had to let em walk. need another yr or two. rut is full swing here in MD and its been a blast hunting. had a fork under my stand friday grunting like crazy for at least 5 minutes. i love watching the horny little bucks harassing every doe in the woods. reminds me of high school haha

Rules are you can enter as many deer as you want but only 2 will count. Scoring is 5 pts per deer plus the number of antler points of the biggest buck. What I'm getting at is you can upgrade your buck if you shoot a bigger one. Shoot two bucks and smaller one will only count for 5 pts.

I had a decent buck come by early before I could make out antler pts this morning so I had to pass ( minimum antler restriction area). Then had a fork horn grunting continuously as he followed a doe by. All 4 deer I saw this morning came within 20yds of the tree I was in.

I still think you should just hunt in camp with your wife on speakerphone.....
 
I should also say I did hunt from a tree I could actually see camp from last night. . . Lazy or strategic? I'll let you make the call. . .
