Best of luck, Unfortunately work pulled some strings on me, and I am not making it to WV for their opener this week because of work, but will spend Sunday making some last minute prep of the private piece we hunt most frequently here in VA.So I pulled some strings at work. I'll get my first sit of the season tomorrow evening! I'll be checking out my 5 acre private access. Kind of an observation type sit with the hopes of maybe taking something!
I've been watching too much The Hunting Public on the YouTube! I'm having some serious hunt withdrawals! Work and school have worked against me so far. Not to mention thunderstorms and fighting off illness! I'm chomping at the bit! Sorry about your luck at work. I hope you can make the best of your time you do get off!Best of luck, Unfortunately work pulled some strings on me, and I am not making it to WV for their opener this week because of work, but will spend Sunday making some last minute prep of the private piece we hunt most frequently here in VA.

Well if they have always had cattle on the farm he may be used to them being around. I've seen deer grazing with cows before within 50-100 yards. FIngers crossed brother! No. I got permission to hunt this place last November before they winter their cows here. Just did 3-4 sits. Thought I lost rights due to my coworkers grandma selling the place and then he ended up buying it from her so I got it back until the cows invade!

When does the rut usually hit there. Our county is weird. On the east side of thee county its around Christmas, west side is around end of January. 30 minutes away.
