Team 7 2019 thread

The big 10 I am hunting on this lottery hunt made another appearance, 45 minutes after legal shooting light was over in my headlights driving out. Have 1 day left and then it's over. Giving it all I have to get him just out of his bed tomorrow. I am not a scent lok guy, but will be using it tomorrow and trying to push the envelope.

I only got to see the big 10 after dark yet again. I saw a giant 8 yesterday morning, 350 yards away in a powerline and the old Knight ML just wouldn't reach out quite that far. I went in there for the evening, but only saw does. Plenty of season left locally, but that was a 3 day special draw hunt. I have a decent 8 for local on camera and he will go down if I see him.
 
2.5 yr old 8 pt and 2 doe fawns are the only players this morning so far. Will take a big doe for pts, but not fawns or small bucks.

Heading back in deep in the morning. Will half to get up at 245am to milk to hopefully be in by daylight. Touch over 2miles in up a long holler then pulling up a north point watching a hour glass type spot. Been cold here today feeding and so forth. Bout 20 earlier. Windchill showing about 6 above. Hoping ol stud comes by tomorrow. Good luck and stay warm gentleman. God bless ya

I will be back out tomorrow about mid morning til dark. Almost shot a good 9 pt last night. Just needed a little closer. Was covered up in deer on whole sit. I'm heading back to this area again tomorrow. Many mature does in there!

It has been an odd fall so far for me. I cannot buy a doe in range when I want to see one, but have been covered up with small bucks and fawns, saw at least one buck on all but 1x out so far. The rut is still a few weeks away here and the bigger bucks don't hit our property until then. I will keep digging.

I’d loan you a doe if I could. Passed about a dozen so far. I don’t want to shoot one here until after a buck.
