I took a break from hunting after gun season, I spent a ton of time in the woods during November. We have a doe-only season ending today, and another running Christmas through New Year's day. I plan to get some hunting done in between--hopefully upgrade one of my does to a buck.
 
My late season begins December 27th and ends January 17th, so I should be able to put another doe on the board (and hopefully 4 in the freezer). I've never shot a buck this late, but anything could happen! Good luck to everyone who's still in it!

Congrats! I've been on deer just hasn't happened yet. I saw 11 does over 3 days during out shotgun season but it's bucks only that week. Last weekend I had a doe out of range and then had a little 3" spike come by at 10 yards. I have an itchy trigger finger but he got a pass. Should be able to put a morning sit in tomorrow and then it's off the rest of the weekend for the holiday. Next weekend things start to get good because I have the ML tag and then Jan 1 our winter bow comes in which means I can start hunting Sundays again and put a little more time in the woods. The season goes until late February but I'm going to go hard until the end of January and then call it this year because I have to go on baby watch.
