The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Caught him slipping along the edge of the palmettos. Two 8s and a 6 for me this year. Got a buddy en route to help with the pack out.

Beautiful day here today, in a tree waiting on a doe. Should of brought my thermacell, I've killed about a dozen skeeters so far

I hate skeeters. Down here you can freeze in the morning and sweat skeeters in the evening. Makes me irritable
Same here. It was in the 30s last night, got the 70s today. I got a tick off me last weekend when it was in the 50s. I hate them things more than skeeters!
I got skunked, didnt see a thing! I sure thought I would have.
I tried to go this evening, but cant get to the spots I wanted to because of flood water. Anyways on the neighboring farms from my dads house to mine I saw 31 deer in 4 miles grazing in hay fields. Sure wish I could of hunted...
Water came down enough to cross the slough so I did some quick scouting from the truck with the kids. Saw 3 bucks together, one shooter. Also seen a bunch of other sign. If the mrs gets home from her day out early enough I'm gonna go get in a tree. Until then me and the kids are gonna sit ag the house and watch hunting videos!

Try to seal the deal for us!
Well I went. Got setup and about 10 minutes after getting set the wind switched from south to east and was blowing directly into the bedding. Within a few minutes there was 2 different deer blowing so I went ahead and packed up and left. Did talk to a cousin of mine who has a hay field he seen 20+ in a few days ago so I'm gonna try it next weekend. In the 4 mile drive home I seen 18 deer this evening on the neighboring farm. Sure wish they'd let me deer hunt it lol

Don't want to celebrate too soon the 49's had a 10 point lead with 7 minutes left in the superbowl. We know how that ended.
It's a rainy gloomy week ahead with the exception of this friday is supposed to be sunny and clear, with a little luck I'll be hunting that afternoon for some last minute points! I told the ol lady I wasn't gonna hunt this weekend since I'm going heli hog hunting next weekend in texas, but I'm still gonna try to slide in one last hunt before the contest is over!
