TEAM 8 Discussion Thread

Love your mixed use of different climbing methods to make it work! I'm like this team! I just got my email confirmation today that my Aerohunter Kite has shipped. I cannot wait to shoot out of it rather than my sitDrag for a change...
Thanks, I had another stick but no point in putting it there when I just needed another hand hold lol especially since I've got about 10 of those wild edge steps I made myself, if I decide to go somewhere else and need to I'll just make some more lol. I hunted out of a sit drag last season, will be in a mantis this year.

Starting tomorrow I’ll be hunting hard for the next four days. Setup for my park hunt at noon then an evening sit. Friday morning I’ll be in the park for what I hope is an eventful weekend.

Striking out in the park so far. Hunted dark to dark yesterday with no deer sightings. This morning was crisp and promising. Had one deer around me before daylight but once shooting light came it was gone.

They’re calling for rain tomorrow and the park won’t hunt the rain. Hoping that holds off.

Well, I saw a doe last night. But she was a little out of range and it was getting pretty dark. But I felt like a deer hunting ninja sneaking in by canoe and trolling motor and setting up in a tree saddle! I was sweating and stinky, but I just hunted into the breeze with the water at my back. I think it’s gonna be at least a week before I get to hunt again. Good luck everybody!

I'm going to take a week or two off from hunting while we get moved into our new house. Plus like I told the mrs, if I kill my second buck and tag out now, what the hell am I going to do until February other than be home and bug you :tearsofjoy:

Heck yeah. I let a couple skippys walk on Sunday. Maybe this weekend. I feel a cough coming on......don’t think I will make it to work Friday this week.

Haha I've already told them I wont be coming in on Friday.

Mines been open but not doing much good. I’d blame it on the heat but I’ve got one broadhead dull and muddy and another walking around in a does shoulder to say it wasn’t the weathers fault.
